Wide Toe Front
FAS, a classic model... updated!
The wide-toe front is the classic design used for issues related to the suspensory ligament.
This version is LIGHTWEIGHT and DURABLE. It is made from a steel that can be cold-worked yet is highly wear-resistant, allowing the thickness to be reduced to 6 mm (1/4") and the overall weight to be lowered. This model has extra material in the center of the tip to pull the clip, if needed.

Testing of size 2 is almost complete, so the size range will soon be expanded from 0 to 3. A version designed for two clips will also be introduced.
Murgese
A special horseshoe for a special horse!
This project was born from collaboration with professionals in Apulia (Southern Italy) regarding the hind shoeing of the Murgese horse, native to their region. Technical requirements made it necessary to hand-forge a suitable shoe starting from a 25x10 (1" by 3/8") iron bar or, alternatively, to begin with a commercial front (!) one-clip shoe and, with the help of a gas or coal forge, shape it until achieving the form of this model. Testing is underway and the results are excellent. The energy balance, still to be accurately assessed, should favor this process but, just as important, is the balance of the farrier’s physical stress, which is certainly reduced, while still achieving an impeccable and repeatable technical result.
The sizes available for testing are 4 & 5 with a thickness of 10 mm. The material used is high-quality certified steel, which can also be cold worked. The horseshoe being tested is punched but not stamped. The stamping operation is carried out quickly and easily by the farrier, together with the operation of creating the toe clip.
